1. Can I send the order to the kitchen before the payment?

Yes, in our module at POS configurations, you have an option 'Order To Show'. With this feature, you can choose whether you want to send the order to the kitchen screen by clicking on the button, or you want to send the order to the kitchen screen after payment. You can view this image as a reference.

2. Is it possible to restrict the product category to not send orders to the kitchen screen?

Yes, the product category/categories you choose to send the orders in the kitchen will only be able to send orders to the kitchen. Thus, no other category’s product will be sent to the kitchen screen.

3. Is it possible to have multiple Kitchen screens?

Yes, this is absolutely feasible, you can create multiple kitchen screens and can assign each kitchen screen different product categories with the same or different POS session.

4. How does the order appear on the kitchen screen?

There's a check box to 'Auto Accept' the order on the kitchen screen. If you enable this check-box, the orders will appear on the kitchen screen automatically without any manual interference.

If you disable the check-box, then the chef at the kitchen will receive a notification and will accept the order. You can view the image for reference.

5. Can we add order notes to the kitchen screen orders?

By default, the cashier can not add notes to the kitchen screen order. They have to go for some other paid customization for the same.

Our module Odoo POS Order Notes module enables you to add order notes to individual order lines as well as on complete order. These order notes help you with a custom message to be displayed with the order and also can be attached for internal reference.
