Can the same products be sold by multiple vendors in the Multivendor Marketplace App for Shopify?

Yes, different sellers can sell the same products but only if those products are added as Global Products by the admin.

•  How can Admin add a Global Product?

To enable this functionality on your Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Store you need to enable the Global Product feature app from the Feature App section.

After making this featured app active, you need to configure this app from the Shopify Multivendor Admin Panel >> Configuration >> Global Product Configuration >> Save Changes

Now Admin needs to add the Global Product by this process:

Shopify Multivendor Admin Panel >> Products >> Global Products >> Choose the Product as Global Product >> enter the rest of the details and save the changes

Admin can see all the Global Products added by him from the Global Product section.

Admin can add the Global Products in one more way i.e., after importing the products from Products >> Import Products section >> Click on the three dots (under Action column) >> Assign Product to Seller >> Select Assign Product as Global Product >> Assign

• How can Sellers sell Global Products?

Shopify Multivendor Seller Panel >> Products >> Global Products >> click on the three dots under Action column >> Sell Products >> save changes

• Can Sellers edit/delete the Global Products?

Yes, sellers can delete/edit the Global Products that they are selling.

Note that sellers can only edit Shipping Method, Pricing Details, Track Inventory and Quantity of the Global Products from the Products >> Global Products Section.

• Where can Admin find the details of the Sellers who are selling the Global products?

From his Shopify Multivendor Admin Panel >> Products >> Global Products >> under Action column >> he will get options to view Seller details, edit, delete and disable the Global Product.

Admin can also enable/disable the sellers selling the Global Products when viewing the Seller details.

• Any code pasting that needs to be done?

Paste the given code in product-template.liquid file:

• Are there any restrictions on this app?

There is only one restriction with this app i.e., products with variants cannot be imported as Global Products.
