In Magento 2 Reward Points, If the customer’s cart carries a product P1 that belongs to more than one category say C1 and C2. And, the reward points are set as 5 for category C1 and 10 for category C2 by the admin. Then, the reward points for the category with the highest reward points value will be credited to the customer’s account ie; 10 reward points for category C2.
