If you have multiple warehouses at multiple locations then by using this featured app, the Admin and the Seller can track inventory on multiple locations and manage orders accordingly. Both will have details about the number of products available at each location.
To make this feature work, follow the process:
Shopify backend >> Settings >> Locations >> Enable inventory at locations >> Add location (locations of your different warehouses).
Now, Shopify backend >> Settings >> Locations >> Edit fulfillment priority.
Set fulfillment priority to any of the added locations where you want the orders to be assigned first for the fulfillment.
Enable the Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Multilocation Inventory feature app.
Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Admin Panel >> Click on the three dots on the top right of the panel >> Multilocation Inventory.
Here, you will have a list of all the inventory locations. On this page, the Admin can sync the updates related to Inventory Location, enable/disable the synced locations.
If disabled, the Seller will not be able to add that location for tracking inventory of any product.
Both Admin and Sellers (if the Seller default location is not enabled for them) can add location while adding a new product.
Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Admin/Seller Panel >> Products >> Product Listing >> Add Products >> Track Inventory >> Edit Loaction.
Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Admin Panel >> Sellers >> Seller Listing >> Edit Seller >> Seller Default Location section >> Enable >> Select an address >> Save Location.
On clicking the Save Location button, a popup will arrive with two options:
Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Seller Panel >> Orders >> Order Location >> View >> Select Inventory Location >> Fulfillment Details >> Edit Tracking >> Fulfill Items.
