The "Pay What You Want" featured app in the Multivendor Marketplace App for Shopify, provides a flexible pricing model where customers can choose the amount they want to pay for products, rather than a fixed price. This feature is especially beneficial for stores offering donations, unique products, or services where pricing flexibility is key.
With this feature, the seller can set a minimum price for a product, and customers have the option to pay more based on their preference or budget. However, if a customer tries to enter a price lower than the minimum set in the backend, they will receive a message stating:
“You must pay at least minimum amount value”.
The app allows sellers to configure this pricing model directly from their dashboard, giving them full control over the minimum price while ensuring the checkout process remains smooth for customers.
This flexibility in pricing can also boost engagement, customer loyalty, and overall sales by providing more choices and fostering a sense of community, especially in charitable or cause-driven stores.
Enabling this feature adds a cost of $10 per month to your existing multi-vendor plan.
To get started, follow these simple steps:
1. Go to the Multi-Vendor Admin Panel
2. From the Dashboard, click the three dots in the top-right corner
3. Select "Featured Apps"
4. Search for "Pay What You Want" and click "Enable"
5. Once you accept the charges, you can start configuring the app.
