Create an App for your Seller | Shopify Seller Product sync App

If your Sellers have their own Shopify Store and Admin want to sync those Seller's products with his Shopify Store then this is the app to do that.

Admin needs to create an app for his Sellers, Sellers need to install that app in their Shopify Store and make their product sync. With product sync, the inventory gets synced too. Every order made will be sync and the inventory gets reduced likewise. Admin can charge his Sellers for using this application.

Note: Make sure that the Seller's email ID on Shopify Multivendor Marketplace is the same as the one mentioned in his Shopify Store otherwise a new Seller will be created on Shopify Multivendor Marketplace once the Seller installs the app.

 

 

How to create the app?

There are two ways, either the Admin can contact us to create the app for him or he can do it by himself.

To DIY:

Admin needs to have a Partner Account on Shopify.

Shopify Partner Account Admin Panel > Apps > Create App > enter the App Name and App URL > Create App.

 

Where I get the App URL?

Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Admin Panel > Configuration > Seller Supported App Feature Configuration > Seller App Configuration Section > at the bottom of the page, you will get the App URL.

Also, copy the Whitelisted Redirection URL given just below the App URL and paste it in created app's App Info section with other information like App Name, App URL etc.

On this App Info page, you will get the API Key and Secret Key which you need to mention in the Seller Supported App Feature Configuration Section of the Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Admin Panel's Configuration.

 

Admin can add FAQs about the Seller App:

Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Admin Panel > Configuration > Seller Supported App Feature Configuration > Seller App FAQs > +Add FAQ.

 

Admin needs to share the app installation URL which he will get from the Shopify Multivendor Marketplace Admin Panel > Configuration > Seller Supported App Feature Configuration > Seller App Configuration Section > at the bottom of the page, you will get the App Installation URL.

When Sellers click on the link, they need to enter their shop URL and install.

 

To sync the products:

Shopify Seller Panel > Apps > Seller Sync App > Click on sync products > Continue to app.

> Products > All Products > Selects the Products you want to sync > Actions > Sync with Merchant/Hide from Merchant.

 

Admin will get all the products in the Product section in an approval pending state which he can enable or deny. If denied, he needs to mention a reason for denying the product and save.
