Collections are basically a group of products from a similar category which makes it easier to find and manage your products in your store.
In the Multivendor Marketplace app, the Admin can restrict the collection if he doesn't want to have or sync the collections on his Multivendor Marketplace app.
Let's understand this more precisely,
Admin needs to login to his Multivendor Marketplace app >> Configuration >> Restriction Configuration:
Now, disable the Restrict Collection option if you don't want to have collections on your Multivendor Marketplace.
(Though if you enable this option, you'll be able to sync your Shopify store's collection with Multivendor Marketplace app and even add new collections.
You can also add commissions on the basis of collections, select the 'Collect Commission Received' menu as max or min i.e. a single product can be in different collections and if the collection commission is applied, the commission on the collection with maximum value will be select or min. is decided on the basis of this configuration.

You can restrict smart (automatic) collection by enabling the last option shown in the image above if don't want to show collections on your seller's end.
